Tips & More Info
I originally built Authorcise as a webapp to help me sustain my daily writing habit during the pandemic. The MacOS version is a lot cleaner and has more functionality, but is basically the same thing as that original model.
This app works best if you use it every single day, and even better if you use it every day and sometimes allow yourself not to save what you write. The goal is to build a writing habit, but to also internalize the fact that not every string of words is precious, which is liberating (a lot healthier for a writer’s long-term practice).
